Brother DCP-L2550DW Manual, User Guide, and Setup

Brother typically refers to the Brother DCP-L2550DW as a multifunction copier. This monochrome laser device can also be printed and scanned. Whatever the name, it’s ideal for home or micro-offices, requiring a fast, affordable, single-color laser with a wide range of connectivity options, although it’s best suited for medium-quality text printing overall output. Weighing 12.5 x 16.1 x 15.7 inches (HWD) and 25.6 pounds, you may find space on the table for the printer. Its two-line non-touch mono display and related function buttons can be used to perform setup and maintenance tasks. The standard paper capacity is 251 sheets, divided into the 250-page main tray and single-page multi-function feeder. In addition to the flat-panel scanner, the printer has the title of “Multifunction Copier” for the 50-page Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), which can be used to scan or copy multi-page documents, although it does not automatically scan dual-sided documents. Brother DCP-L2550DW is a single laser all-in-one that we recently evaluated for a similar price, and it lacks ADF (and fax). When printing the Plain Text section of the Business Application Suite, the printer averages 34.7 pages (ppm) per minute, just below Brother’s 36 ppm rating. It prints our complete business suite in 14.4 ppm clips, including the Word documents above as well as PDF, PowerPoint, and Excel files. Graphics quality is suitable for internal business use, including PowerPoint handouts, although it may not be suitable for important customers. The printer does a good job of handling the fine lines of the original color. The printer has a maximum of 15,000 pages per month and a recommended monthly print volume of 2,000 pages, making it ideal for small and medium-volume printing in a micro or home offices. The Brother DCP-L2550DW can be connected to a PC via a USB cable or to a local network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. It can also connect to compatible devices via Wi-Fi Direct via a retracted direct connection. It supports Google Cloud Print and works with the Brother iPrint-Scan app, as well as AirPrint and Mopria for easy printing from iOS and Android devices. It includes document management software for Windows (Nuance PaperPort 14SE with OCR). As we all know, whether a commercial printer is good or not depends on how effectively to increase productivity to a higher level, in which the control of detail is even more essential. In the network, connection design has been strengthened, equipped with wired / wireless two network connection methods, aimed at improving the efficiency and convenience of corporate document printing.
