Epson EcoTank ET-4700 Multi-in-One Supertank Printer is an entry-level, high-capacity ink color all-in-one printer designed for small and home offices that require between 400 and 800 pages per month to print and copy. You can configure and perform roaming tasks, such as printing to the cloud or making a copy, through the slightly busy multi-button control panel of the printer, which contains not only an array of navigation and command keys but also a numeric keypad and a 1.44-inch color display. These types of controls were a bit out of date in the last century and were not as convenient as larger, more comprehensive graphic touch screens, but they did the job. In addition to missing touch panels, you’ve abandoned an automatic duplex printing engine, which means that to print two-sided pages, you need to get single-sided prints from the output tray, flip them, and put them back on paper – a process that Epson took you to step by step. Makes it tolerable but not as convenient as an automatic duplex printer. the Epson EcoTank ET-4700 comes with an automatic file feeder (ADF) – in this case, 30 manual duplex feeders, which means that in order to scan or copy the double-sided original, you must flip the second half of the work yourself. Pallets can also be configured to hold up to 10 Size 10 envelopes or 20 photo paper, cards, or label media. Epson has set the maximum monthly space ratio for ET-47 printer at 5,000 pages, with a recommended monthly print volume of 800. The standard interface on the Epson EcoTank ET-4700 is Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, and is connected to a single PC via USB 2.0. You can also print and scan using Wi-Fi Direct, a re-equivalent protocol that connects printers to handheld devices without having to be part of the network. Other mobile connectivity options include Google Cloud Print, Apple AirPrint, Mopria, and Fire OS support, not to mention the mobile utilities included in the Epson Connect service set. These include Epson Email Print, Epson Remote Print, Epson Scan to Cloud, and Epson iPrint applications.
