As the flagship product of EcoTank Pro, the new brand of small business and team inkjet printers, the Epson EcoTank Pro ET-16650 is a feature-rich wide-form all-in-one (AIO) that prints pages in ultra-tabloid sizes (13 × 19 inches) and scans and copies standard tabloid sizes (11,× 17 inches). As one of the company’s high-volume ink EcoTank AIOs, it prints color pages at a very low cost per page. This multifunction printer prints well and has reasonable editing. Epson will also provide you with enough ink for the first two years of your possession of this (or another EcoTank Pro) machine. This incredible value, its relatively high capacity, and rating, and its powerful feature set speak volumes, and it’s a great product for medium-sized offices and teams with medium-capacity wide-range AIO. The brand currently includes two wide-form AIOs (this one and the ET-16600), as well as three letter-sized machines that are increasing in functionality and capacity. its scanner makes the printer an all-in-one, in which case it is a 50-page automatic duplex (automatically scanning both sides of a double-sided page) automatic document feeder (ADF). It scans copies and faxes single-sided and two-sided multi-page documents without user intervention. Like most business-oriented AIO and single-featured printers today, you can do a lot from the model’s dashboard: configure Epson EcoTank Pro ET-16650, monitor consumables, generate usage and other reports, and perform walking tasks. These tasks include making copies, printing or scanning from the cloud to the cloud, setting up and monitoring security features. This spacious and easy-to-use control consists of buttons for several specific tasks, such as working status and paper settings, as well as a numeric keypad – all supported by a 4.3-inch color touchscreen. Of course, you can also get an on-board web portal (as currently, business-oriented AIO does), which can access all operations and configuration tasks from almost any PC or mobile device web browser. The printer has a paper capacity of 550 sheets, divided into two 250-sheet cassettes and a 50-sheet multifunction tray, pulled from the back of the machine and pulled slightly out. The printer has a maximum monthly work cycle of 66,000 pages and a recommended monthly print volume of 3,300. The Epson EcoTank Pro ET-16650’s hardware interface is Ethernet (up to 100Mbps) that connects to a single PC via USB, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and Bluetooth BLE. The latest two provide a point-to-point connection that allows you to connect your smartphone and tablet to a printer that is not part of the same network. Other mobile connectivity options include Apple AirPrint, Mopria, and a range of options such as email printing, scanning to the cloud, remote printer drivers, and other options for connecting via Epson. You can also get the Epson iPrint mobile app for printing and scanning directly to your iOS or Android handheld device.
