Epson Expression Photo XP-970 Manual, User’s Guide, and Installation

Epson Expression Photo XP-970 Small In One Printer, a consumer-grade wide-range photo printer, this printer can print pages that are wide or small (11 x 17 inches). Both machines are excellent for oversized photo-oriented home and home office AIO, but Epson has some limitations compared to Canon, such as not being able to hold multiple large sheets of paper at a time. Even so, with the development of large-format photo AIO, the printer is a relatively powerful choice, especially if you need to print borderless images and documents with a maximum size tabloid size. Paper handling includes a limited 100-page main tray with a maximum paper size limit of 8.5 x 11 inches, although you do have a built-in double-sided printer and a second tray that can hold up to 20 5 x 7 inches of photo paper. Each time you switch between a printed document and a photo, the photo tray prevents you from replacing the paper in the main tray. Tabloid-sized pages are fed from the back of the machine, but as mentioned above, you can only load one sheet of paper at a time after giving a print command and prompting you to insert large media. Few printers have more connectivity options than the Epson Expression Photo XP-970. Small-in-One’s standard interface is Ethernet, a USB 2.0, 802.11b/ g/n Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi Direct for plugging into a single PC for re-connecting to a mobile device without the need for local connectivity. You’ll also get support for the most flavored SD and mini SD cards, which are the storage devices of choice for most digital cameras and smartphones. Like most Canon, Epson, and HP consumer printers and AIO today, the printer supports voice commands from Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant or applications on mobile devices. For voice commands made through other services, such as Apple’s Siri or Microsoft’s Cortana, you can deploy IFTTT.com or IFTT (if so, you can) scripts available on other sites on the Internet. Third-party mobile devices include Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Android, Amazon Fire OS, Mopria Print Service, and Epson’s Scan-to-The-Cloud feature. You’ll also get Epson’s Web Connect, a collection of mobile device apps, including Epson Email Printing, Epson Remote Printing, Epson iPrint for Android and iOS, and Epson Creative Print. The last one offers posters, calendars, and other templates that can be accessed on iOS and Android devices. Other additions to Epson Expression Photo XP-970 standard printing and scanner drivers include Scan Utility 2 (a powerful and easy-to-use scanner interface), Epson Easy Photo Scan, which removes some of the mystery from obtaining high-quality image scanning, and Epson CD Print, which designs and prints disc labels and jewelry box inserts.
