Epson WorkForce WF-2830 represents the third generation of this small, business-centric AIO product, and the WF-2760 is its latest predecessor. The new model measures 10 x 19.8 x 16.4 inches (HWD) and weighs 14.6 pounds, about an inch higher than the WF-2760, although both models weigh the same amount. There is only one paper input source on the printer that slides out of the front of the printer in the form of a 150-page paper box. Its Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) can hold up to 30 Paper Pages (8.5 x 11 inches) or 10 Legal-size (11 x 14 inches) pages. ADF does not automatically print on both sides, which means that to scan both sides of a two-sided page, you must manually flip them to scan the second side. However, you can automatically print two-sided pages. The printer has a maximum monthly work cycle of 5,000 pages and a recommended print volume of 800 pages. The HP 6978 has a larger paper capacity (225 sheets) and a monthly work cycle (20,000 pages). A small business office and home-friendly printer, printing, copying, scanning, fax four functions in one. Black and white print speeds are 10.3 ISO ppm and color print speeds are 4.5 ISO ppm. Trays can be placed on up to 100 pages of paper, freeing you from the hassle of loading paper multiple times. Four-color stand-alone cartridge, affordable. You can configure the Epson WorkForce WF-2830 and start printing, copying, scanning, and faxing jobs from its 2.4-inch color settings touch screen, which includes the entire control panel in addition to the Help, Home, and NFC buttons (more information about this option below). You can also set up and launch a variety of connectivity and cloud services from the printer’s built-in website. One of the more attractive aspects of the printer is its long list of connectivity options. Of course, you’ll get the basics of Ethernet (wired) networks, Wi-Fi (wireless) networks, and the ability to connect to a PC over USB, as well as the ability to have two wireless or equivalent networks without a network. Network, no router protocol required. Several clouds, network, and Internet services are also available, which can be configured through AIO’s built-in services; These include Apple AirPrint settings, DNS/agent settings, Epson Connect, and Google Cloud Print. Epson connections include Epson Email Printing, Epson Remote Printing, Epson Scan to the Cloud, Epson iPrint App (iOS, Android), Epson Print, and Scan App (Windows). Other mobility options include Wi-Fi Direct and Near Field Communication (NFC), two re-network protocols that allow you to connect your mobile device to an Epson WorkForce WF-2830 printer without using them to connect to a physical network or router. With NFC, you can connect your mobile device to an NFC hotspot on the printer, in this case on the right side of the control panel.
